Vienna Way Residence in Venice, California by Marmol Radziner

The floor-to-ceiling glass certainly makes the house seem wall-less , and achieves the purpose of connecting interior and exterior spaces. The building doesn't look like much of a house, though; the dark, thick lines make it seem more inclined to be a work space. I like the wood, whose orange-y color complements the aqua blue of the pool in the photo, but it gets monotonous because it seems as if all the furniture is composed of it.

Speaking of floor-to-ceiling glass, I've always wondered about the privacy concerns owners of predominantly glass houses have, especially at night with all the lights on inside. They must have huge investments in curtains.
